September 12, 2023 – Stack Financial Management (SFM) of Whitefish, Montana has been ranked #72 in the 2023 CNBC Financial Advisor 100 (CNBC.com/FA100). This elite list recognizes the “top advisory firms in the country that are helping guide clients through the journey of financial freedom.” In assembling this list, CNBC considers the firm’s number of years in business, compliance record, number of investment advisors registered with the firm, and assets under management, among other factors.
From an initial list of over 40,000 Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), CNBC, with the help of AccuPoint Solutions, narrowed the field to 812 firms that met their proprietary criteria. These RIAs were sent extensive surveys to complete to gather more details. CNBC then verified the data with those firms and with the SEC regulatory database. AccuPoint Solutions applied CNBC’s proprietary weighted categories to further refine and rank the firms, ultimately creating the list of the top 100 firms. CNBC receives no compensation from placing financial advisory firms on this annual ranking.
